Christmas is done and it was a fabulous Christmas indeed. On Christmas Eve Mom, Dad, Rayce, Thom, Tina, Lacie, Levi, and myself went to Little Caesar's in Davison then drove through the Crossroads Village light display. It was so pretty, driving underneath all of those lights. They have a huge Christmas tree that is apparently made out of metal that they add on to each year. It was beautiful. Then we went home and opened presents. Guess what I got!!! I got a Snuggie and a Sirius Radio! Mom says the Sirius is a Christmas/graduation present and I'm super happy with it because now I can listen to Lithium and CNN in MY car and not break my car so I can take Mom's all of the time. Oops... I don't actually do it. lol. After everyone left, I packed up my stuff and headed up to Saginaw with Rayce.
I adore Rayce's family, even if they are republicans. LOL. We watched some Little Brittan while I played the Sims. Then Rayce and I snuggled in for the night. We got up Christmas morning, opened our stockings, and waited for Rayce's brother and his girlfriend. Reasons I love this family: Christmas blend coffee, cheesy eggs, and the fact that they actually smoke while opening presents. Everything was so laid back and fun. I'm used to some OTHER family that used to do one present at a time and it was really uncomfortable. Around here you just rip in and everyone is laughing and admiring and thanking and I love it.
Rayce and I went up to his room and hung out for a bit, napping and playing on our computers. Then we headed downstairs for dinner. Steak, potatoes, broccoli, red wine. It was, indeed, amazing. Then we headed back upstairs for a night of Degrassi and Sims. Now we are up and planning on leaving or my house at some point for the friends' party (drinking and pasta).
But, you know what? There were things I wanted this year that I knew I wouldn't get. Some things don't fit under a Christmas tree...
ALSO, HOLY CRAP IT'S ALMOST 2010. Damn, I've had a rough year. I can't believe that I will be behaving in just a week. I better get my kicks in now.
